Bottle kindly shared by Pilsnertest. Almost black, thick pour with brown head. Loads of cinnamon, chocolate, cocoa, rye bread, treacle. Full, viscous. Full of flavour.

Flavour is roasted malts with rye bread, coffee, cocoa nibs, vanilla and cinnamon, as well as leather, tannins and wooden barrels.

Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish roasted, dark malts, cinnamon, toast, dark sugar, dark chocolate, raisins, alcohol, nuts, oak, minerals, bark. Taste is slightly sweet sour-ish roasted, dark sugar, chocolate, dark malts, raisins, cinnamon, oak, old rope, vanilla, nuts, alcohol, roasted grain, minerals. Medium to longlasting bitterness, sweet sour-ish boozy mouthfeel. Nice one.

ABV: (11.0)%. Clear dark black brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee, cinnamon, cocoa. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, cinnamon bitter, cocoa, chocolate, coffee, wood - barrel - alcohol. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20190615]
