Reviewed from notes.
Can to mug.
Appearance: dark amber color with a sly transparency here and there in the glass, one finger white foamy head dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: toasted nuts, clean caramel/toffee malts, subtle earthy tones, light biscuity vibes
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a rounded sweetness; finishes nutty and malty
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, some smoothness but a light earthy grip on the tongue
Overall: I'd say leans closer to being a Marzen rather than a festbier, and yes, I would return to this beer.

At the source: pours copper with a white head. Aroma is caramel, light hops. Taste is lightly sweet with a low bit of bitterness. Solid beer.
