Pours deep coppery gold into a willi. Off-white head with good retention recedes to coat surface. Caramel and molasses aromas. Medium bodied with sweet golden syrup, caramel and molasses front to back. Medium length earthy brown bread and bark finish. Nice.

20oz Lukr pour at Tewks, 2/26/23! Clear, deep amber. Medium-sized, off-white head, again, not as large or well-retained as it should be. They aren't pouting these Lukr faucets correctly (submerge the tap nozzle in the beer, which they aren't doing). Spicy hops, toasted sourdough with honey, cherry and strawberry from the malt. Clean, clear, bright, spicy, fruity, great balance. Soft and very malty with great attenuation. Toasted baguette, brilliantly fresh, flavorful herbal hops and clean, white bread and honey-like sweetness from base malt. Balanced finish, crisp and quenching. No preponderance of specialty malt. Good minerality.

Pours a clear rich brown from a can. Nutty, malty aroma and flavor. Nice yeasty finish surprisingly. A little watery. Good beer.

16 oz can from Tree House, Charlton, 3/23/22. Amber color, beige head, fairly strong lace. Caramel, biscuit, and grains. Somewhat doughy. Flavorful, malty stuff. Well made.

Pours a slightly hazy, amber color, with mid-sized head. Aroma is bread, malt, straw. Flavor is bread, malt, some biscuit, with a lightly bitter finish. Crisp and clean mouthfeel.
