San Diego's Modern Times joined us for the 11th in a series of collaborations celebrating our first festival, Friends & Family & Beer. Inspired by Ice, their classic Pilsner, we brewed a Pils dry-hopped with the bold and distinctive New Zealand hop Nelson Sauvin. It greets you with all the hallmarks you'd expect from the style before delivering a modern, flavoursome flourish.

Aroma & Flavour: lemon and marmalade up front, followed by a kick of grape and resinous hop notes
Body: Light-medium body, clean and crisp, aided by a spritzy carbonation
Aftertaste: Restrained, resinous bitterness, mixed with floral notes, lasting juicy tangerine

Keg at the bermondsey tap room. A crystal clear mid orange coloured pour with a lasting sticky white head. Aroma is odd leafy hop, prawn cocktail, bready grains. Flavour is composed of crisp, bready grains, potato corn snack, light lemon, whatsit crisp,. Palate is really nice, airy fluffy carbonation, semi dry finish,. Quite unusual.
