On tap at Hopfengarten Bamberg. Clear gold colour lasting white head. Well the eucalyptus jumps out of ths glass at you Delivering more herb than mint. It's good clean base golden lager. Then layer of well balanced eucalyptus over it. Bitter and herb. Clean and a minty finish. That is insistent but not over the top. Decent.

Glass at hopfengarten. Pale yellow, light haze, big fine white head. Smell is floral. Aroma of flowers, mint, lemon, eucalyptus backed by grainy malts, I think wheat, bread and some yeast. Very refreshing and balsamic, initially reminded me of Belgian gruutbier as hops profile is thin to a grassy note. Nice one though in the heat of today.

Tap a the garten during their hop festival. Pretty, bright, pastel-ish orange-golden color. Cloudy, with a low, fine head. Minty, herbal nose, some citrus and a bit of biscuit. Citrus flavor, a bit overwhelmed by eucalyptus, herbal, mints, lemon grass. Too much for me.
