Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: yellowed cardboard haziness with a two and a half fingers of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some mild lace
Aroma: big tropical fruity hops, nice vanilla to lactose character underneath (and not big enough to move this into a milkshake styled IPA)
Flavor: melds the prior noted aromas together in a sweet to bitter blend; finishes with papaya and vanilla
Texture: medium bodied, leaning to being a sipper, very smooth along the tongue, extremely low bitterness detected, nice low carb
Overall: despite the lactose and vanilla that was added to this, I was super glad none of that was overbearing and that this beer remained as a true New England styled IPA very worthy of me returning to.
