Canned on 10/29/2025.
Can to snifter.
Appearance: pours brown and shows black in the glass with a slim khaki foamy head which dissipated nicely but barely left any lace.
Aroma: smoked malts (ever so slight bacon-like notes but even those seem very in and out), nice roasty aspect, subtle dark chocolate and subtle sweet grains
Flavor: smoky sweet but adds in some dark fruits and toasted nuts; finishes smoky, dark fruity and some dark chocolate
Texture: medium bodied, great sipper, very smooth along the tongue with a touch of stickiness
Overall: an absolutely awesome smoked Baltic porter I'd definitely be happy to come back to on a cold Winter's night.

Pours a dark brown, verging on black, with small, tan head. Aroma is smoke. Flavor is smoke, some burnt toast, some roasted grain, maybe a touch of dark fruit. Smooth mouthfeel.

Draught at the brewery, 4/7/22. Clear, dark, ashen-mahogany with a small, neat, dark beige head showing modest retention. Nose is softly, but very enjoyable smokey, though it's the more easygoing smoked malt, not the bacon and/or iodine variety. Chocolate, raisin, prune and soft vanilla with mild roast and no booze or flaw. Soft, richly malty and delightfully smokey with just enough sweetness to comfort the palate without getting too sweet. Lots of prune and raisin as there should be, with smokey dryness and a touch of drying alcohol on the finish.
