We employed a technique out of Forager Brewey’s stout brewing catalog and put together a massive American double stout base designed for extended barrel aging. After 19 months slumbering in oak, this blissful beast was blended from a selection of barrels sourced from Buffalo Trace, Bairdstown, Heaven Hill, Willet Rye and Templeton Rye. We then took another Forager process and conditioned on 5 growing regions of vanilla beans from Vanuatu, India, Uganda, Madagascar and Ecuador layered with 5 growing regions of cocoa nibs from Bolivia, Peru, Ivory Coast, Tanzania and Fiji. We are beyond excited for you to taste this Beautiful liquid.

On tap at Peders. Pours black with a tan head. Tons of rich vanilla and bourbon on the nose, some light cocoa powder on top. Flavour has tons of rich vanilla, bourbon, charred oak, deep roasty base. This is excellent.

On tap at Peders, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is full of rich vanilla beans, a nice bourbon barrel expression, and gentle cocoa. Flavour is wonderfully rich, with intense vanilla beans, massive bourbon barrels, some cocoa, and burnt sugars. Tons of vanilla and bourbon with deep complexity. Beauty.

Pre-MBCC 2025 gathering.
Sweet, chocolate, a bit earthy. Taste is along the same lines, a bit roasty with a lot of barrel character. Good one.

Rich dark sweet malty with rich chocolate, toffee and caramel sweetness, some vanilla accents, full body with a velvety mouthfeel, bourbon and vanilla coalesce into the lingering dark malty finish. Lovely drop.

Intense barrel notes, soft chocolate sauce, wood, oak, massive amounts of vanilla beans, some cocoa, bourbon and syrup. Quite soft and delicate

Oct 24/22. Dunno if this held up in the can/shipping, it's not much pastry, upfront punch of boozy harshness and a huge vanilla oils finish. Shame cause every other humble forager has been a knock out for me.
