Canned 3/10/22, drunk 3/14/22. Heavily hazy, peach-maize-tinted-golden with a medium-sized, dense, white head showing strong retention. Delightfully funky galaxy/nelson hops with rich mineral, light white wine and moderate tropical fruits. Light malts suggest honey, well-attenuated, with light biscuit. Touches of ester from the yeast, but nothing crude or heavy. No alcohol, flaw or twang. Oh yeah. OH YEAH. Wow. They've done it again (and they do it again quite frequently). This is another of the top tier DIPAs from here with just miles of funky, wine and tropical-laden hops. Soft, succulent, honey-rich malts are pillowy and comforting with great attenuation. Great balance of bitterness and malt, with soft, fruity esters from yeast and tons of watermelon lingering. Explosively hoppy, flavorful, balanced and just jaw-dropping. Wow.
