Draft. Black beer with a tan head. Bourbon and dark fruit aroma with light caramel. Bourbon and light chocolate flavor with dark fruit and light caramel. Medium bodied. Caramel and bourbon linger with dark fruit.

On tap at the brewery. Aroma is malt forward with lots of toffee, caramel and Tootsie rolls. Hints of burnt sugar and roast. Faint chocolate notes and some graham cracker and honey notes. Hins of oak and bourbon barrels. Light alcohol notes. Pours black with some dark brown hues and a small, dark tan head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers on the edges. Light lacing and long legs. Flavor is rather sweet with lots of caramel, toffee, Tootsie rolls, with lighter roast and chocolate notes. Hints of honey and graham crackers. Moderate bitterness and medium alcohol notes. Light barrel notes. Mouthfeel is fairly full bodied with medium low carbonation. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth. Overall, a super nice barrel aged barleywine. Really nice, complex malt profile with complimentary barrel notes.
