From plastic pitcher, 6.9% at KØ19. Good liquorice aroma. Black colour. Small light brown head. The flavour is roasted with a mild creamy note in the finish and a distinct liquorice aftertaste. 737314

From tap. Pours pitch black. Brown head. Roasted dark malty. Bitter, dark malty. Roasted. Slight liqourice note. Bitter and dark malty finish.

Bottle 500ml. @ HØF2019 - Holstebro Øl-Festival 2019, Kulturdivisionen Slagteriet Holstebro, Struervej 48, 7500 Holstebro, Danmark.[ As Beard Brew Imperial Stout ].Unclear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light jeavy malty, roasted, burnt, dusty, dark malt, light licorice, wood - oak notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted, dusty, licorice wood - licorice root, wood - oak notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.
