Draft at the brewery. Pours a clear, bronze color, with a big, foamy, beige head. The aroma is caramel, pumpernickel, coriander, pecan, and light peat. Sweet and malty, with a mellow, earthy bitterness. Light, creamy, and crisp. Smooth and nicely balanced.

16 ounce can. Amber orange pour. Frothy beige head. Toasted malt aroma has a nutty nuance. Sweet toasted malt flavor has notes of toffee and herbal hops. Soft mouthfeel. Typical for the style.

Marzen style. Malty, sweet, little bread action. Thanks Eli for the sample.

Can (8/5/22) pour from trade with AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! It's a clear copper with nice sparkle, 3-finger off-white fluffy foam head with excellent retention and nice soapy lacing. Aroma is stale bread, crackers, caramel, mild fruit. Taste is sweet caramel malt, light spice. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, great look and decent complexity in the aroma but taste is meh. OK.
