This is the kind of beer where you can eat the whole loaf. Brewed with quality British Maris Otter, two types of Crystal malt, and hopped with the classiest East Kent Goldings. We’re tasting lovely notes of fresh homemade wheat bread, cottage marmalade, well seasoned firewood, craisins and dried cherries, classic London-style yeast character, and a couple digestive biscuits. A bit on the hoppy side for a bitter but quite nice regardless. Lots of caramel and nutty notes. Always nice to find a cask pour in the US!

Cask at the Roost pours a clear brown with some sticky, beige head. Nose is butterscotch, malt, sweet tea, some dough. Flavor is sweet dough, brown sugar, butterscotch, tea. Silky mouthfeel. To style.

Cask at F&M: pours amber with white head. Aroma is earthy, light caramel, herbs. Taste is dry and fairly bitter. Nice cask.
