Can. Did not swirl and it pours a clear pale with a big white frothy head that goes craggy and remains. Nose has an off odoriferous citrus note, not as appetizing to the olfactory as many wits. Whew, first taste is a little more bitter than I was expecting. Hard to find the friendly aspects of a real old country wit. Not a hoppy bitterness, more of a medium mild processed bitter bite. Could use a little more carbonation. Now, approaching the middle, I'm getting some very informal rudish banana. Yep, in comparison to many wits I've sampled in the past, this stuff needs to learn some manners. Probably shouldn't even be in the same neighborhood as Bocq Blanche de Namur, Hoegarrden Wit-Blanche, La Trappe Witte Trappist or even Brabandere Wittekerke. Just a fairly below average attempt like Lagunitas Stoopid Wit and Genesee Rock Wall White Tide. There, you have it.

Sightly hazy gold with a large fluffy white head that lingered. Yeasty and grainy with a coriander note. Long finish. Medium body.

Aromas are malt and spices. Flavors are similar to nose. Bittersweet. Okay body and carbonation. Kind of basic but not bad.

Can - this is pretty solid - reminds me a little bit of the golden age of Southampton Double White before Southampton went to shit - real OGs know what the fuck I’m talking about - this one is a little heavy-handed on the spice, but it is soft and full in the mouth and has a nice clean honey sweetness to it - soft wheat notes and some orange peel on the back end - to heavy on the ginger, but quite nice.

Sampled from the tap at The Sovereign. Pours a clear slightly hazy yellow golf with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has sweet wheat and coriander with a bit of light nutmeg underlying. Flavor has sweet wheat and coriander with nutmeg and clove coming through.
