Applebird Dry Cider.A still, dry cider made with a blend of bittersweet and bittersharp cider apples. Applebird has a pleasant, lingering astringency with earthy tannins.

Bullfinch (Pyrrhula pyrrhula) or ‘Applebird’ in the old Pembrokeshire dialect. This shy bird often visits our orchards to snack on the apple buds. Despite them nibbling our young crops, we’re determined to provide these threatened birds with the woodland habitat they need to thrive.

24/3/2025. Bottle shared by danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear golden with a few bubbles. Aroma is fruity, apple, citrus, leathery, funky, some developing woodiness. Nice drying finish. Decent.

500ml bottle from Brooksgrove Farm. Orangey gold colour, thin bubbly rim and aroma of apple, wood, funk. Taste is tangy, tart, apple, woody, some funk and drying earthy tannin. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tart & tannic finish. Quite drinkable.
