Living Ribbons is our kinda sorta traditional Belgian Style Witbier that we are just loving during this heat wave.
Brewed with a base of @rabbit_hill_malthouse Wheat with some Flaked Oats for a bit of extra body, Living Ribbons is then hopped with Motueka and conditioned atop dried Lemongrass before being fermented with a traditional Belgian Witbier yeast strain.
Esther-y & bready like your classic Witbiers, with an extra bit of zip from the Motueka & Lemongrass, amping up the citrus notes and floral qualities.
And, at just 4.0% ABV, it’s like our gatorade around here these days ✌️😎✌️
Living Ribbons season is coming to a close soon, so swing on by to give it a try and/or take some home with ya.

Can from Bottle Bar East: pale misty whitish yellow. Aroma is lemongrass and flowers. Very lemongrassy. Fine for what it is.

16 ounce can. Hazy pale gold color. Pillowy white head. Light wheat malt aroma hints at lemon. Flavor mirrors nose. Light wheat malt notes are accented by the spicy lemongrass. Added notes of lime peel from the Motueka hops.
