Crystal Sphere Messenger is a Munichwine made with our friends from Private Press Brewing in Santa Cruz, CA. Brewed with an enormous amount of Munich malt and a combination of specialty malts, it was aged in a variety of Kentucky bourbon barrels for 13 months.

Sweet, malty and caramely with some toffee, syrup and earthiness. Okay.
Sweet and boozy, malty, bourbon and caramel, fudgy toffee. Very nice.

Tap @Mikkeller&Friends. Black, beige head. Rich malty aroma, vanilla. Sweet boozy flavour, vanilla, rich dark malt. Bourbon barrel and buzz.

On tap at Mikkeller & Friends. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Bready malts, burnt caramel, and bourbon on the nose. Flavour has bready malts, caramel, burnt toffee, bourbon. Fantastic.
Dark fruits, oak, moderately sweet. Taste is very sweet, a lot of dark fruits, caramel candies. Good one.

Almost black beer with a tan lacing. Aroma of dried fruits plums, sweet dark malt. Taste of dried dark fruits, plums, raisins, wood, boozy finish.

Tap @ Mikkeller, Stefansgade. Almost black with a small beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, dried fruit, light vanilla and bourbon. Flavor is very sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet finish with lots of warming alcohol. Oily and soft. 210525
