Birdie is a new IPA we’re brewing in collaboration with Ales for ALS, a non-profit charity that helps breweries create beers and donate the funding to ALS research! Birdie was brewed with a hearty malt bill mostly made up of 2-Row and all of our most pillowy oats. We were given an unbelievable batch of hops (Simcoe! Ekuanot! Loral! Talus! As well as three unnamed experimental hops) and decided these would pair perfectly with some Citra and Columbus for an easy drinking but bold little IPA. Notes of black tea, kaffir lime and lemonade with a green apple garnish.

Can from Kennet Square: pours hazy with white head. Aroma is piny and tropical with some citrus. Taste is fairly bitter, not too sweet. Fine.
