440ml can from HOTM. Near black pour/dark ruby red with moderate sized tanned head, nice retention, looks the part. Roasted malts, quite sweet, chocolate, some smokiness on the nose. Taste is roasty but with a more mellow chocolate that comes through as well as a lightness that comes from a 4.1% strength. Finish has ash notes as well as a slight fruity note in the finish. Light bodied, semi-dry, soft carbonation. A light sessionable porter but with still enough flavour to keep you interested.

Creamy tan head on a near black still body. Malt, liquorice & nutty aroma. Medium bodied, smooth g creamy with a clean dry back. Malt, nutty, berries & burnt & tastes with a bitter lightly hopped peppery finish. Tastes similar to a Dry Irish Stout - Solid.

A solid and very sessionable stout. Malty, a little chocolate, dash of fruit. Not Buxton's most exciting beer, but they don't miss so this is as per still very drinkable.

A small taste from wiosna (tap) @ Black Door. Pours very dark brown with a low tan head. Aroma is dry roasted malts with some coffee. Flavor is dry roasted malts, coffee, hops. Good.

Appearance: Dark brown, near black. Decent, creamy tan head. Aroma: Dark malt, roasted, some dark chocolate? Taste: Dark malt, quite heavily roasted. Leather. Punchy for a 4.1%. Very good. Bought: Bierrevier, 100 ml tap, CHF 3.25 Info: 14/9-2024

mild roasted malty slightly bitter nutty aroma. flavor is roasted malts, brown sugar, nuts, roasted malty finish. quite fair porter, solid flavor for a 4.1%er, a bit on the sweet side, but very drinkable anyways.
