440ml can sold to me by djoeye. Near-black in the glass, decent beige head leaving spotty lacing behind. Roasted chocolate malty nose, promising. Malt-driven taste of chocolate, earth, and hints of liquorice. Roasted ending. Easy to drink, session porter. (At Alf's place, Tromsø 09.05.2025).

Tap @ Cirkus, Stavanger. Dark brown body with a nice, dense tan head. Nice aroma of dark, roasted malt, coffee and mocha. Smooth in flavors, mild, roasted dark malt, chocolate, bitter coffee. Medium body, actually quite nice comparing with the moderate ABV level, smooth aftertaste. A nice, tasty and very smooth English porter.

Deep and dark with a tall tan head. Dry roasted malts, cocoa powder, earthy, a touch of burnt malt, bitter dark chocolate. Dry finish with very little sweetness throughout. Full bodied. Reminds me of many dry Irish stouts I’ve had. It’s a good beer especially at the abv.

Can (from Alko web). Pitch black colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is roasted, some mild floral and dried fruity with a bit of chocolate to it as well. Flavour is chocolaty, roasted, some mild coffee with a bit floral and dried fruity tones too. Smooth.
