500mL, undated bottle, from the brewery cooler, drunk 9/17/24. Clear copper. Medium-sized, beige head, good retention. Woody, with a bit of buttery oak and more dry oak. Excellent, classic, on-style BdG yeast shows no crude phenols/esters. Light toasted malt but it's not overdone. Everything feels rounded and appropriately aged with a good fruitiness, moderate lactic acidity and mild fruitiness. Can't even definitely pick out the orange peel. In the mouth there's a burst of lovely bourbon. Spicy, lightly buttery, lightly sweet, even. Mix of caramel, toast and base malt shows ample depth from the malt, while there is a strong fruitiness throughout with light citrus, light vanilla and light honey lingering. Nothing aggressive. Very mellow, flavorful and well-aged. The bourbon is understated and lovely.

Bottle from Orest: pours mirky orange brown with white head. Aroma is orange zest, wood, light funk, earthy. Taste is lightly funky, not really sour, low sweetness. Fruity touches.

At Snallygaster. Poured a kinda hazy rusty yellow color with a big white head. Aroma was light and funky notes. Pleasant juice - good floral hop. Nice juicy notes with a tinge funky yeast, woody whiskey notes.

Wow. Big bretta. Citrus. Murky yellow pour with good head and lacing. Some peel. Tangy finish. Tap at Snappy.
