Can to tall tulip.
Appearance: black color with a two finger off white foamy head which slowly dissipated and left some sly lacing
Aroma: brisk dark bready malts, earthy sweetness, subtle spicy yeastiness, some pomme-like fruits further down in there
Flavor: the sweet breadiness and the spicy yeast matches to balance and meshes with the subtle pomme-like fruitiness, subtle dark bready aftertaste
Texture: medium bodied, nothing cloying but lingering sweet feels rolling about, finish of pomme-like fruits and dark bread
Overall: awwwww yeah, a very nicely done doppelbock by one of my favorite brewers of Vermont

Canned 5/13/24, drunk 6/26/24. Deep ruby-amber highlights with mahogany throughout. Clear. Small, beige head, quickly to cover. Lots of specialty malt. Heavy toast, some char and salt. Maybe a bit dominated by it. But no alcohol or anything really problematic. Chocolatey. Chocolate and toffee. Toasted brown bread and good acidity on the finish. Light black licorice, black pepper. Good malt depth and it dries out just enough on the end. Lingering fruit, toffee and heavy toast. No booze.

Logjammin: pours dark amber with tan head. Aroma is dark fruit and candy sugar, hints of chocolate. Taste is sweet and rather powerful. A bit chewy.
