Call Waiting, the bourbon barrel-aged version of Better Call Colette, has the same notes of rich bread, caramel, and toffee as its non-aged version. The barrel has imparted aromas and flavors of rich butterscotch, oak. and whiskey laced between the already complex flavors of the Wee Heavy.

Draught at source: pours brown with beige head. Aroma is bourbon, caramel, vanilla and coffee. Taste is sweetish, bourbony, sort of sweet. Fine.

375ml bottle pours a cola brown with a ring of white-ish head. Nose is very nice and very inviting, malt, caramel, coffee, light booze, marzipan and toasted pecans. Flavor is very smooth, this was pulled from the barrel just in time. Coffee is both nutty and a little green, some roasted jalapeño. Malt backbone underpins everything, toffee, carob, 3 Musketeers bars. The booze is there too, its most Jameson than Woodford, but its pleasant. Finishes full bodied, a little oily, just a touch hot. Well done and well blended.
