Two great breweries did the heavy lifting & this Nepo Baby is reaping all the benefits. privileged enough to be brewed with Strata, Nelson and Riwaka hops this DIPA is sure to succeed without even trying.

Appearance: orange haziness with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: melons, mixed dark berries, subtle white grapes, and a light dank tone; light clean biscuity malts
Flavor: copies the aromas to a fine bittersweet to sweet danky quality; finishes leaning into the white grapes, melon and some berry tones
Texture: medium bodied, leaning into being a sipper; some smoothness and light hop assertiveness
Overall: a very nicely done NE styled DIPA well worthy of returning to.

Keg at BeerCade2, 1/21/24. Omaha trip #51. Hazy orange, medium beige head, average retention. Aroma of melon, grapefruit, dank. Taste is melon, mango, pineapple, pale malt. Juicy, low bitterness.

I have a 16 oz can from the local beer store, the owner seems to get a lot of Toppling Goliath brews, fine by me. The stamp on the bottom says PKG 12/01/23 to pass along. Using a globe glass tonight, I lift the tab and pour. I see the typical hazy IPA appearance, cloudy yellow-orange with a substantial top of completely white foam. While the style is a distance from being my favorite, I will say that the scent is pleasant. Tropical, orange juice and a touch of pine. I follow with a taste and get oranges, pineapple, enough hops to register, honeydew, varnish and straw. Considerably more sweetness than bitterness. Not great, not bad, an easy beer to drink, which I would do again.

Can from City Beer, NYC: pours hazy with a white head. Aroma citrus and sharp tropical fruitiness. Sweet and tangy. Quite nice.

Pours a hazy, bright lemon yellow, with lasting, mid-sized head. Aroma is dank, with some green onion on top of citrus and tropical fruits. Flavor follows. Soft mouthfeel. Moderate hop bitterness in the finish.
