DDH Grassman (Citra & Nelson) is a DDH Honey Double IPA. Grassman has long been one of our absolute favorites from waaayyy back in the BrewCafé catalog, with this iteration updated with that heavy duty secondary dry hop we all know & love =) Brewed with soft 'n' fluffy oats and local wildflower honey and fermented with our expressive house ale yeast. Dry hopped aggressively with Citra and Nelson Sauvin from our selections in Washington and New Zealand, Notes of freshly squeezed tangerine, honeydew sorbet, sweet mango nectar, lychee gummies, and lots & lots of, uh, grass, man.

Can. Color: Very hazy orange, white head. Aroma: Hoppy, tropical fruit, dank. Taste: Hoppy, grassy, dank notes, fruity grapefruit, orange, some melon and white grape. Nice amount of bitterness at the dry-ish finish. Hints of onion. Smooth and dense malty base. Over medium body, average carbonation. Over moderate going to over medium bitterness at the finish. Over moderate sweetness, hints of honey. Very nice one.

16 ounce can from Tavour. Cloudy orange gold pour. Large, billowing beige head is long-lasting. Fragrant aromas of honey and citrus. First sip is sweet and fruity. A quick punch of peppery bitterness follows suit. Notes of grapefruit, bitter greens, melon and peach. Light carbonation and smooth bodied. Interesting.
