Reviewed from notes.
Can to becher glass.
Appearance: glossy burnt yellow to copper color with a sly transparency about it but closer to the edges with a two finger white foamy head which settled off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: floral and earthy hops up front, subtle spicy hop note; clean bready/crackery malts
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine malty bready tone to a slight floral/earthy hop with a little bit of zing to it; finishes malty with a light hoppy zing to it
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, pretty smooth along the tongue with a little bit of hoppy snap to it
Overall: yup, this is definitely a Czech pilsener and one I would welcome again.

Real clean, a bit dry on the finish, refreshing. Really good. Thanks Ray! Ray is an RBS customer, so nice seeing him!

Can, best before 4/16/24, drunk 2/6/24. Clear, bright golden. Large, frothy, white head, good retention. Bright, herbal hops with freshly baked bread. Clean, good, crisp lager yeast on the finish. Bit of rustic mineral, hay, cracker, biscuit, etc...A bit more aromatic than usual for Von Trapp. Soft, malty, dry, with herbal hop character and moderate bitterness. Clean. The texture, while malty, is just a bit flat and slightly mushy, for lack of a better term. The carbonation is super loose and seemingly quite forced. Clean as all hell, but just a little bit too polished and produced. Maybe high filtration is knocking out the texture and aromatics?

16 ounce can from Yardley Beer Company. Number one with a bullet. Honey gold color. Pillowy white head. Biscuity malt aroma has hints of corn and cracker. Flavor is sweet malt and spicy, herbal hops. Notes of honey and cut grass. Great balance and flavor.
