This beer was brewed with Vermont honey, then, after resting in a puncheon, was bottle conditioned with raw honey. Asklepian or the rod of Asklepius is a Greek symbol associated with healing and the medical profession. It was brewed in Memory of my father, Dr. Constantine Gletsos(1934-2020), on his birthday last August. Besides being a Greek, a Doctor, and a hobby beekeeper, he was an avid hiker. The last picture is of him in ‘72, close to my age now. That’s my oldest brother in his lap. You can maybe see my reflection in the glass as I tried to sync up our faces.

Flowers, kind of odd. Tart kind of finish. Pours golden with good head and lacing. Tap at Snally.

Had at Snallygaster. Poured a clear light golden color with a small white head. Aroma was floral, light funky notes. Flavor was lemon, funky barrel. Interesting stuff.

Sampled at Snallygaster. Very herbal, but it's what they do. Hazy yellow, with some big rocky head. Almost a little greek yogurt sourness. Lemon. Plenty of herbs too.

Snallygaster: pours hazy with white head. Aroma is spice, herbs, funk. Taste is sourish, herby. Deep.
