0.5l can from day 13 of the Costco Advent Calendar. It pours clear yellow with a fizzy white head. The aroma is fresh, clean, spicy, grass, straw, some doughy white bread, nuttiness and biscuit. The taste is crispy as, firmly dry, snappy, pleasing bitterness, rather grassy, green, light florals, some peppery spice, on top of clean malt base of doughy white bread and biscuit with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, spiky carbonation. The most lagerbier of the box so far. Really nice and crispi. Good crusher.

Half liter can from the Costco advent calendar. Grassy, spicy, noble hop nose. Crackery, bready malts there too. Bright, clear gold with a low head, slightly effervescent. Crisp, spicy, bitter flavor. Classic North German pils. Bready malt backbone holds up some very nice hops indeed. This is in surprisingly good condition. Dry as a bone in the finish and quite bracingly bitter. Crisp and very good.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, deep golden with a dissipating white head. Vague citrus note in the aroma. Medium body, sweet malts with a slightly oxidized touch and a bitterish finish. Seems unfresh somehow, BB is 04.22. 021221

Can, 0.50l. Aroma is grainy, grassy, floral and citrusy. Pours clear pale golden color with large soapy white head and sparkling appearance. Taste starts light sweet grainy and bready, following is grassy and slightly citrusy, mouthfeel is dry with average bitter finish. Light to medium body, thin texture and average carbonation in palate. Quite tasty just a bit bland...

Pretty nice pils. Great noble hops and good barley notes. A bit of cloying aftertaste but overall a nice drink for easy going beers. Golden pour. Can from Day 23 from advent calendar. Christmas Eve's Eve.

Half liter can, 12/24/20, #23 from the Costco Advent calendar. New bundeslander and a GUSHER! Slightly hazy gold large frothy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of floral, leafy hops, grain. Taste is earthy and piney hops, pale malt. Medium bodied, decent balance.

Clear golden coloured body with a thinnish, pure white coloured head that fades very quickly and leaves just about nothing on top, after a few seconds. Aroma of grain, grass, flowers, tea and some bitter German hops with a good dry hopping and some light sweetness toward the end from apples or pears. Light-bodied; Super grassy, herbal and especially floral grainy malt notes dominate with a lot of dryness and some light bitterness from the hops with a hint of alpha acids and some more pungent, medicinal and metallic astringency with a yeastie and bread-like flavour at the end that is deep and strong throughout with a slight sweetness near the end. Aftertaste shows some bitterness from the hops, but more of the bitterness and pungency from the astringent metallic and alcohol notes that really come from the yeast and malts. Overall, a dry, very grassy and herbal beer with a lot of deep bitter notes and some of the hops and light sweetness to slightly balance this out. Nice to sample, but a bit too strong for the style (without being higher in alcohol) compared to others and if I were in Germany, I wouldn't want to search out for this one, but it's not a bad one to sample when readily available! I sampled this 50 cL can, from Day #23 of the Costco 2020 Advent Calendar, purchased from Costco in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia sampled at my house here in Washington on 23-December-2020.
