April fun at Ratebeer Odense. Black with a small white head. Roasted aroma with chocolate, cocoa powder and spices. Sweet, light roasted flavour with loads of hot chocolate character.

Bottle at the source: pours black with a beige head. Aroma is coconuts, nuts, marshmallow, tobacco. Taste is fairly sweet, nutty, not too boozy, coconut notes. One of the better 12 beers of Christmas. Quite nice.

Highest rated? No figgy pudding. Too much going on.

Bottle shared at home with the in-laws - pours back with a tan head. Dark sweet malty with lots of chocolate and vanilla, further caramel and sticky maple sweetness coming in, just a hint of roast, dried fruit shred, coconut throughout, full body, some nutty and vanilla into the sweet malty finish. Was not sure at first but this one grew on me. --- Beer merged from original tick of 12 Beers Of Christmas - Omnipollo on 26 Mar 2025 at 11:57 - Score: 8.
