Bottle from the brewery: pours black with a small beige head. Aroma is milky chocolate, coffee, pastries. Taste is somewhat sweet, mellow coffee, but I think it dropped out a good bit over the last year. This held up well in my opinion and is a smooth, slightly sweet, flavourful ale.

Mmm the finale, marshmallows will set you free. Mi gusta the coffee in this. But definitely life lesson about ordering 11 stouts all from the same base stout (I'm guessing) and honorable mention to the weird barleywine, gets tiring REAL quick. No ragrets.

ABV: 13.5%. Clear dark black brown colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly to fully diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, coffee, sweet coffee - sugary coffee, marshmallow, sweet malt, light to moderate chocolate. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, marshmallow, chocolate, coffee, dark malt, sweet malt. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20200112]

Dark sweet and roasted malty with light roasted coffee and vanilla sweetness coming together, notes of cocoa, icing sugar, caramel, viscous substantial mouthfeel and full body, coffee and vanilla sweet laden malty finish.
