For the 2022 vintage of our flagship Barrel-Aged Stout, we decided to showcase our favorite Buffalo Trace Distillery brands. This distinct blend was selected exclusively from batches of Medianoche aged for 22-24 months in freshly emptied Blanton's 15-year bourbon, Thomas H. Handy 6-year rye, E.H. Taylor 6-year bourbon, and Eagle Rare 10-year bourbon barrels. Medianoche, which means "midnight" in Spanish, embodies the hard work, patience, and uncompromising dedication to excellence we value at WeldWerks.

Bottle. Pours inky black, small tan head, decent lacing. Aroma is fudge molasses, bourbon. Flavor is medium plus sweet, medium bitter. Not as good as last year, but still fun. Full body

Enjoyed at Jug & Bottle in Tampa, FL after a great Italian meal. Motor oil consistency, burnt sugar with vanilla notes, not too much of a burn, a bit of a coffee bitterness in the backend. Not too sweet. Pretty good

Black and thick with a small tan head. Roasted aroma with dark chocolate, dates, liquorice and a touch of soy sauce. Sweet and thick roasted flavour with charcoal notes. Too sweet and too hard roasted, but the aroma is amazing.

50 cl. Bottle @ Ratebeer Odense, January 2023. Pours Black with a bubbly beige head. Dark Lord. Soy, salty licorice, coffee roast. Vinous, slick and smooth. Intense. Almost too Thick. Boom

Capped 500 from Tavour. Pours dark brn/blk with a dark tan rim. Aroma of bourbon, rye and chocolate. Full bodied, a bit syrupy in texture. Flavor is chocolate, rye, bourbon and smooth burnt malt. Heat too. Silky and flavorful. Excellent.
