Cask at Brewery Tap, Chester. Pours a very dark reddish-brown with a small cream head. There’s roasted malts in the aroma, plus a hint of chocolate. In the mouth malts again are to the fore, together with liquorice, a few hops, and some chocolate and caramel lurking underneath. Some bitterness comes through at the finish. Quite a reasonable stout.

Draught @ Indy Man Beer Fest 2022, Manchester. Pours black with a small creamy head. Roast, ashes and chocolate. Smooth and dry.

Keg at Indymanbeercon 2022 with Stuu666 and cgarvieuk. Pours black with a foamy beige head. Aromas of light roast and chocolate. Taste is more of the same. Roasty but thin finish.

Cask @ Nightjar, Hebden Bridge. Near black with a thick creamy off-white head. It's very smooth, maintaining a good and slightly dry roasted malt in both aroma and taste.
