Cask at Angel, Stockport. Pours a dark reddish-brown with a small foamy cream head. Not much of an aroma – just some hints of dark fruits. In the mouth it is sweet and creamy with plums bing the predominant flavour. There’s also some roasted malts and traces of ginger biscuits and molasses. Fruitiness continues in the finish. This isn’t bad, but I’m getting heartily sick of the plethora of plum porters around these days “

Cask @ The Commercial, Slaithwaite. Pours black with a small beige head. Plum and cocoa powder. Artificial to the extreme. Smooth texture.
