A classic dark mild. Easy drinking, with notes of cocoa, roasted coffee and liquorice. Sweet on the palate but, dry on the finish. Perfect session ale.

Gravity cask at Pigs Ear 2021 - Hackney. Pours clear brown with a frothy, light khaki head. Lightly sweet with notes of earth, aged berries, carpet, toasted grains, a faint suggestion of toasted malts. Light bodied with fine carbonation; decent condition. Finishes with a hint of spent tobacco, more earth, leathery fruits. So so.
