Can: I think people are forgetting that IPAs were hazy and not NEIPA in the past. This one is a yellow with a white lacing head. Aroma is hops, danky, fruity, tropical, peach. Taste is hops bitter, peach, danky, piney, bitter finish. Not west coast but not hazy.

On draft. Pours a hazy gold with an off white head. Aromas are vegetal with some melon. Flavors are bitter citrus.

Draught in Herndon: pours gold with white head. Very fruity and slightly piny nose. Taste is sweet and a bit bitter. Fine.

Murky yellow with a large foamy white head. Bitter, very earthy and a pronounced body odor presence. Long finish. Medium body. Terrible.

Clear nights. As long as your definition of clear is hazy rather than straight up murky. Certainly not a West Coast IPA as the menu describes it. But then I wasn't exactly expecting San Diego personified here either--hazy brewers never know how to make a West Coaster. It's the body they don't get. Hops are on point, i get more mosaic than the others. Then the body just dies off into a light green onion hop tang. Tap at 14th Street location.

Tap at Aslin, Washington DC, with Matthijs, 9th March 23. Pours hazy not so clear. Aroma of peach and orange. Taste is clean, fruity, not much bitterness and for sure not west coast as per the description, but it’s a nice beer
