On tap at Uiltje Bar, sampler. Almost black colour, beige head. Aroma of sludge, peppermint, chocolate. Flavour is sweet, chocolate, cocoa, earth, sludge, peppermint, bittersweet finish. Medium bodied at best. Love After Eight, this not so much.

Tap at Uiltje Bar. Hazy dark brown, like murky cola. Small dark beige head. Massive dark chocolate and mint, like really a lot of both. Light cocoa, toffee and sweet malts, but the peppermint gets overpowering quick. Very sweet, light bitter and soft spicy peppermint. Full bodied.

Bottle at home. Dark brown with short lasting head. Big sweet deep roasted chocolate malts, vegetal and herbal essence of mint. Big sweet and over medium bitter. Over medium body and soft carbonation.

Draft at Uiltje Bar. Ruby maroon color, off white head. Aroma of milk chocolate and fresh mint. Taste is chocolate covered mint. Tasty.

Draft at uiltje. Aroma of sharp mint, chocolate, malt and toothpaste. Taste has after eight chocolate, sharp mint, malt and some more toothpaste. Mint rarely works.

7 3 8 3 16 Draft at Uiltje Bar. Near black with a tan head. Aroma of mint upfront with dark chocolate, caramel, light coffee notes and roast. Flavour is heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation.
