Vánoční ležák
I na Vánoce si chceme užít pořádného českého ležáku, a proto jsme připravili tento. Je silnější a plný díky využití dekokčního postupu a britského světlého sladu Maris Otter, jež dodává pivu chlebnaté a sušenkové tóny. Nešetřili jsme ani na chmelu, a proto je díky výraznějšímu pozdnímu chmelení tento ležák výrazně chmelově aromatický. Kromě Žateckého poloraného červeňáku jsme použili odrůdu Saaz Late, a výsledkem je pivo vyváženě hořké, s tradičním aromatem českých chmelů a možná trochou citrusů a bylin navíc.
Even at Christmas, you can only be with a proper lager and that's why we brewed this one. It is stronger and fuller in flavour thanks to the use of the decoction process and Maris Otter British light malt, which gives the beer bready and biscuit notes. We didn't skimp on the hops either, which is why this lager has a distinctly hoppy aroma thanks to more pronounced late hopping. In addition to the original Saaz, we used the Saaz Late variety, and the result is a beer that is balanced, bitter, and with the traditional aroma of Czech hops and maybe a little extra citrus and herbs.

My Xmas rating No 46 2025/26.Hazy golden colour with large white head.Aroma has good bitter hops and mild honey note light hint of grass and white bread nice by style beer.

Med-thin body, med carbo. Low sweet, quite dry. Med bitter, bready grainy. Light earthy grassy hops. Drinkable, goodish, not greatish tho.

On tap at Sibeeria, pours a clear pale golden with a medium white head. Aroma has plenty of spicy hops, a touch of black pepper, straw, and crisp crackery malt. Flavour is crisp, with lots of spicy Saaz, some grass, and crisp crackery malt. Biting, crisp, and clean. Very good.

500ml Can - Golden yellow with a small head. Grass and hints of elderflower and aniseed in the aroma. Fresh and crisp taste with notes of grass, herbs and a hint of citrus.

0,5l can from Yeme Nivy. Head is big, white, good retention. Colour is pale gold, light hazy. Aroma is malty, spicy, nice hoppy, citrus, herbal. Taste is medium malty base, bready, noble hops, biscuits, nice balanced bitterness, bit citrus, herbal, medium carbonation, delicious, enjoyed.

Tap at the Sibeeria Tap Room. Hazy golden body, lasting thick off-white head. Smooth creamy floral aroma, some herbal notes as well, some eggy maltiness. Nicely hoppy! Dry taste, but with enough body, slightly overcarbonated maybe. Big herbal hoppiness, floral touches, grainy malty touches. Not sure I dig the malt profile here in the end. Still, a good one.
