Il gusto al naso resta attratto dal fruttato. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e la maniera in cui permane è sufficiente. Il mantello birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma che resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana media. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Il colore è giallo dorato carico. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è di media potenza medio. La forza gustativa è normale e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. In bocca l'aroma è quello di miele, cracker, biscotto, frutta secca, erbaceo e agrumi

Can, 0.5l. Clear golden pour, two finger creamy white head, good retention, lasting head. Sticky lacing on the glass. Sweet and malty nose, grassy and floral notes in the background. Light to medium body, soft carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, soft, chewy, slightly creamy. Easily drinkable. Nicely balanced bittersweet taste. Aroma of malt, grains, grass. Floral and bready notes, light spice, fruity touches in the background. Subtle lingering bitterness. Medium lasting finish, slightly dry. Quite decent.

0.33l bottle from CroCraft & More, brewed at Weihenstephan (5%) - will need to look into this one, how different it is from the original - though it most likely is very much different from the PIT Kaliningrad version I'd had 13-14 years ago... Clear golden body, off-white head. Bit fruity, malty aroma, smells, well, macroish, lightly floral. Lean, light, soft taste, touch of fruitiness, vague honeyish maltiness, bit stale, low floral-herbal hops, just a vague touch of the latter in the finish. Must be interesting for Weihenstephaner's brewers to take this on - a classic global macro lager that doesn't in any way stick out from the crowd... Well, at least they made it drinkable!

Canned 500ml. -from Spicy Days Zagreb. Golden coloured, medium sized white head, floral and light grainy nose. Floral, light grainy, bit bready and herbal with short bitterish finish. Bit dry.

Can by AB in Los Angeles, tho the entry is from Germany and attributed to Japan. Whew! Bought at The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours clear gold with a large foamy white head that laced slowly down. Aroma is bready with a spice note. Med body. Flavor is definitely bready with some light grass/spice. Barely enough hop to show bitterness. Yet the flavor is pretty good. Just not exciting. :)

330ml can. Clear, yellow-ish golden colour with average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Floral, minimally fruity, hoppy and minimally grainy, pale malty aroma, a touch of green apple. Taste is slightly spicy, minimally grainy, pale malty, mildly bitter, floral and minimally fruity hoppy, a touch of green apple, subtle residual sweetness. Minimally oily, watery texture, smooth, soft and silky palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Simple, balanced, very quaffable - not bad.

Minimally sweet-ish, grainy and strawy, pale malty aroma. Taste is sweet-ish grainy, minimally strawy, minimally dry hoppy, slightly watery.
