Tap at the brewery. Hazy amber body, bit darker, thick off-white head. Bit sweaty, tropical-stone fruit aroma, sweet. Fairly caramelly body, cookie touches, citric and lightly herbal hoppiness. Herbal bitter finish. Thankfully tastes better than it smells.

Dies äußerst würzig bittere PA mit 11° ist mein Begleiter für den ersten sonnigen Feierabend draußen im Innenhof meiner Stammkneipe in Břeclav. Es hat eine feine, ewig stehende, dünne Schaumkrone und schöne goldene Farbe. Geschmacklich geht es schon in Richtung IPA, aber bleibt dabei schön bekömmlich, auch wenn die Bittere im Abgang etwas brutal ist. Kann man gut trinken, aber es gibt harmonischere Biere.

Bottle from Pezinská Pivná Pumpa. Quite heavily oxidized, medium bitterness, some caramel notes, not really hoppy. Ok.

1.5.2021. Can via Pivny raj. Rather thin body, moderate carbonation. Medium caramelly maltiness present though, competing with medium orange, zesty, piney hops character. Light sweetness, high bitterness. Drinkable, but overall vibing in the Czech way, as far as hoppy styles go. Not great, not terrible. 6,6.
21.5.2025. Tap at Maly pivo. Exactly the same. ČAPA with lots of caramel and medium citrusy hoppiness. Same points, honestly I would give less now but whatever. 6,6.
