Nouvelle IPA dans notre arsenal houblonné, Scie You Later comporte une combinaison de Citra et d’Idaho 7. Pour rehausser davantage les propriétés aromatiques déjà incroyables de ces deux houblons, nous avons employé de très généreux dosages de ceux-ci sous leur forme Cryo, permettant ainsi d’obtenir un impressionnant bouquet de saveurs tropicales. Nous avons droit à des notes évoquant le citron, la mandarine, l’orange, le fruit de la passion et l’ananas. Saturation en houblons, texture soyeuse, Scie You Later!

Got this too late to celebrate La Journée Québecoise de la bière but I’m glad to find any beers from the sought after (in Quebec) brewery in Japan. Messorem Scie You Later NEIPA 6.8% Pale glowing light gold with dense foam screamed the old skool vermont haze that began it all. Great juicy aroma mixed with a walk through a refreshing pine forest. Medium bodied but with a bone dry finish. The taste is passionfruit, guava the bitter green woodsy hops with a touch of burn. I like that the juicy sweetness returns and lingers in the finish like eating a ripe juicy orange with it dripping down your chin. I’ve gotta say I was a bit put off by the price tag (1500-1900¥) but these guys lived up to the hype and I’d say give them a shot if you’ve got the chance. It’s better than loads of 2000-3000¥ haze being brought over to Japan lately in my opinion.
