GBBF Day 1. Cask. Light haze on this gold beer, small white head. Palate is light, fairly dry and has modest carbonation. Vinegar, marmalade and elderflower. Light dry finish. Flat and vinegary! Two vinegar beers on the bounce as well!

Cask at GBBF’17, day one, 08/08/17. Very lightly hazed golden orange with a moderately appointed off white head that dissipates quickly. Nose is sweet, sticky fruits, no real elderflower aroma for me, sweet and disjointed. Taste comprises light floral notes, sweet licks, grains, mellow fruit notes. Medium to light body, thing and watery. Pretty rubbish.

Cask at the GBBF 2017. Day 5. 12/08/2017. A dull golden coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is sweaty tangy apple, hay and dirty grains. Flavour is composed of light dirty grains, hay, tangy apple, elderflower veg stalks and plant matter. Palate is semi sweet, tangy lowish carbonation. Meh.

Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a hazy light amber with a round bubbly white head. The aroma is dry earthy veggie, light citrus. The flavour is mineral earthy with a soft light citrus very light elderflower palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Not one of the better beers from Angel, but a decent refreshing pint all the same.
