Cask at the Wellington; clear golden yellow pour with a bubbly white head, aroma has crisp malt and ginger, taste has ginger, some citrus, crisp malts.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2017, [ Great British Beer Festival 2017 ], London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX.[ As Backyard Canicule ].Clear medium orange yellow colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, spicy, ginger. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, pale malt, ginger, spicy, ginger peppery. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. IMO: way to much ginger for me ! [20170809] 5-3-5-3-8

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Clear gold beer, bubbly white head. Palate is smooth and dry, modest fine carbonation. Dry malts, some sweetness. Cloves and cinnamon dominate, a little fruity citrus underneath, Little orange peel. Light dry finish. Drinkable for a spiced beer, still couldn’t drink much though!

Cask at GBBF’17, day one, 08/08/17. Clear golden blonde with a moderate off white head. Nose is ginger, toasted grains, light spice, lemon rind. Taste comprises herbal notes, light spice, ginger bread, grass. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Ok for style.

Sampled @ GBBF 2017, Day 3. A clear golden beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of flowers, soft reddish fruits, herbs. Taste of herbs fruits, zest, long bitter finish.

Cask at the Great British Beer Festival 2017. Pours pale gold with a lasting bubbly white head. Aroma is dominated by stem ginger. Moderate sweetness and light bitterness. Light body, slight oily and watery texture, soft carbonation. As ginger infused beers go, this is one of the better ones.
