Oakton location: pours dark hazy with a white head. Aroma is ok citrus and mango notes. Taste is sweet, low bitterness. Fine for 3rd tier IPA.

Ridiculously hazy golden coloured body with a thinnish one to two centimetre tall off-whtie head that simply leaves a thin layer on top of the ultra-hazy, ninety five per cent golden glow. Aroma of hay, grass, flowers, citrus fruits, pine and a good dose of mango candy make this fairly robust, but complex in the nose. Medium-bodied; Rich lemon and mango fruits show at first, but a slightly astringent and strong malt note then hits, with a relatively pungent aspartame and fake-sugar like bite, that gives of an additional bitterness, more than just the alpha acids from the hops. Aftertaste is relatively robust with a lot of hops of course, a good deal of rich malts, bunches of fruit-based nuances (especially tangerines and lemons) with some lighter spicey notes from yeast, dry grasses and even some lemongrass is noticeable. Overall, a pretty nice beer and opening taste from a local brewery to me that hits pretty well, with a strong complexity and range - I'll be happy to sample more from this brewery in the near future. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Union Market in Arlington (Ballston), Virginia on 26-September-2021 for US$4,00, canned on 27-April-2021 and sampled at my house here in Washington on 01-October-2021.

$5.79 pint can, TWF. I have got to find cheaper areas to buy beer. Hazy orange with an offwhite head. Incredible retention. Pineapple, orange peel nose. Melon, bread crust, orange peel, light pineapple. One of these hop flavors I don't like... I have to figure that out. Anyway, that's a minor part of this beer... good.

Kind of tastes like halfway between NE IPA and a west coaster. Pine and passion fruit. Hazy golden pour with OK head and lacing. Quite bitter end for a hazy. Tap at brewery.

Strong mango and papaya nose. Shimmering amber, thin head, good lace. Somewhat dry mango, clover honey. Medium body, easy carbonation. Nice and juicy, sweeter than usual maltiness really works to its advantage in this one.
