Stash is our rotating hop series where we experiment with new hops and processes. For Volume #8, we worked with Hopsteiner to showcase some of their unique hops by featuring Solero, Sultana, and one of their new experimental varieties: HS17701 which is known to provide notes of Peach, yuzu fruit, sweet melon, and soft apricot.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5
Can from Beer Witch: pours orangey haze. Aroma is some citrus, melon, herbs. Taste is sort of bitter at the finish. Not really sweet at all. Definitely a unique hop character, but I cannot say I really enjoy it.
