Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2017, [ Great British Beer Festival 2017 ], London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX.[ As Milk Street Huell Melon ].Clear medium orange colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity, sugary. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sugary, sweet fruit, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20170808] 5-3-6-3-10

Cask at GBBF’17, day one, 08/08/17. Clear golden pour with an off white head that soon dissipates. Nose is light citric peel, grains, straw, orange, grass. Taste comprises orange peel, apricot, bread dough, airy malts, grass. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a light hop tickle. Average golde.

Cask at the Three Horseshoes, Waddington. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma caramel and soft fruit. Taste light sweet to light bittersweet. Long body.

Sampled @ GBBF 2017, Day 1. A clear golden beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of mild citrusy hops, toasted malt, butterscotch. Taste of butterscotch, toasted mild sweet malt.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Lightly hazy gold beer, small bubbly white head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, modest carbonation. Malts are smooth and light and sweetish. Some eggy flavours in the mid - bleurgh! Grassy orange citrus and a little lemon. Light semi dry finish. A good beer handicapped by off flavours of egg.
