Pivní styl NEIPA je zkratkou názvu New Ingland IPA. Nově se spíš užívá „Hazy IPA". Pivo vzniklo v Nové Anglii na východě USA. Díky použití světlých sladů a ovesných vloček je velmi světlé, má nižší hořkost (IBU 25) a díky náloži aromatickcýh chmelů krásně voní. Typickým znakem tohoto pivního stylu je i zakalenost ("hazy").

Skladujte v chladu!

Canned 500ml. -from Pivny Raj Mlynske Nivy Bratislava, shared with Marko & Hrabren. Murky golden coloured, medium sized off-white head, candy orange in the nose. Sweetish malty, candy oranges, light herbal and touch of grapefruit with bitterish finish. Two weeks out of BBE date.

0.5l can that Ogi brought from Bratislava and shared with Hrabren and me, thanks! Misty dark orange body, off-white head. Creamy orange aroma, bit herbal, light phenolic touches. Odd citric dry but juicy taste, light herbal touches, lightly funky, but quite promising. Would have been interesting to try it fresher and/or from tap.

0.5 l can thanks to Ogi, shared with Marko and him. Unclear to hazy dark golden to amber colour, medium to large off-white head. Lightly hoppy, fruity, stone fruit, ripe fruit, some citrus. Underneath: malts, grain, oat. Not the freshest, unfortunately. Sweet taste, medium body, moderate carbonation. Fruity flavour, stone fruit and caramel, some red fruit, some candy. Low bitterness in the back. Dry finish.

500ml can. Cloudy, amber colour with huge, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly zesty and leafy, citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, minimally toasty and sugary, caramel malty background, hints of orange, a touch of lemon tea, marmalade. Taste is mildly bitter, citrusy fruity hoppy, minimally sugary, wheaty and caramel malty basis, hints of lemon, orange, a touch of lemon tea, marmalade. Watery texture, rather indifferent palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Fairly fruity hoppy, but doesn't really meet the style - dissatisfying.
