Bottle from BOB Wines, Sydenham. Aroma of creamy chocolate and coffee with underlying dark berries that become more prominent. Opaque cola brown. Thin bubbly beige head almost entirely disappeares. Medium bitter. Sour edge. Like the the aroma the sour berries grow in prominence. Hints of malty sweetness on the periphery. Light-medium bodied. Slick, a tad creamy. Average carbonation. Dry astringent finish. Decent stuff. Just feels a bit thin.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Hazy brown beer, a few pale tan bubbles. Palate is light and dry, modest carbonation. Dry dark malts bring a little dry dark chocolate. Mild roast. Dry floralness and dry orangey citrus on the finish. Not bad.
