2nd December 2023 Near opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth palate, some viscosity, decent fine carbonation. Rich malts, a good dark malt creamy sweetness supports chocolate liqueur and ice cream van chocolate syrup with not that sweet toffee caramel. Ripe fruits and an a very aged malt vibe on the viscous but crisp finish. Intense! Delightful dessert barleywine.

Bottle sourced from Drikbeer and drunk at home (23/09/2023) - Very sweet malty with lots of rich chocolate, lots of sweet dark sticky caramel, toffee and fudge sweetness, light vanilla accent, medium body with low carbonation, very pastry like BW here as intended, and think I preferred the base brew more last night.
