A proper nod to the best of Belgian brews, but with a bit of a shake-up. Dreamed up with our pals at Burning Sky, we’re bringing those classic yeast esters together with deep, dark malts and that perfect cherry-on-top finish. Mark and Colin have bonded over Belgian beers for years, so it was bound to happen that their first brew together would pay tribute to the style—with a twist.

Enjoyable overall. Tasted blind, I wouldn’t detect any cherry notes. Holds well toasted malts, very slight roast and cocoa, some vague toasted spices, earthy hops, a nip of raisin. Quite drinkable.

Final one of the 3 LC beers. And my favourite. Great malty, roasty porter base, with some of those Beligiany esters, and the cherry cutting through. Class.

Foamy off white head on a ruby coloured body. Burnt, roasted & fresh bread aroma. Medium bodied, foamy & sticky. Malt, biscuit, cherry & bacon tastes with a tangy peppered finish. There's a bit of 🐖 going on here...

Black beer, thick beige head. Big malty aroma. Flavour has big earthy malt, grassy hops, some zesty citrus, some chocolate. Earthy, bitter chocolate finish. Really nice.

Keg at Borough Beer House, Farnham Aroma has coffee, chocolate. Darkest cola brown. Beige head retreats to the rim. Flava has sour cherries with underlying creamy mocha. Medium bodied. Oily. Average carbonation. Long astringent finish. Actually the cherry really starts to come through as I drink more.
