A lighter ABV pale, but with plenty of soft hop flavour from the Kohatu and Motueka. No compromise. No baguettes.

Keg at the brewpub. Aroma is light. Slightly vinous, herbal, malty. Hazy-opaque orange tinged gold. Thin foamy white head doesn't provide full coverage. Light-medium bitter. Vinous. Resinous. Herbal. Spice. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Served far too cold white does impact the rating. As a result initial impressions were underwhelming but then gained more character. Nice low ABV stuff.
